Boomless System: TeeJet 5880 BoomJet Advantage

The TeeJet 5880 BoomJet system is a multi-orifice boomless nozzle assembly designed to project a wide flat spray pattern from a single mounting point. It is commonly used in applications where terrain, obstacles or field conditions make traditional booms impractical.

Key advantages of the BoomJet 5880 system include:

• Wide swath coverage from a single nozzle assembly for efficient broadcast spraying
• Combination of multiple internal tips to create a broad flat spray pattern
• Reduced equipment complexity compared to multi-nozzle boom systems
• Improved ground clearance with no exposed boom arms
• Ideal for rough terrain, pasture edges and irregular field shapes
• Faster setup and reduced maintenance requirements

The BoomJet system is designed for versatility in real-world field conditions where operators need to cover ground efficiently while navigating obstacles such as trees, fence lines, rocks and uneven terrain.

While boomless systems typically trade some pattern uniformity compared to traditional booms, they provide superior flexibility and durability in environments where booms are more likely to be damaged or difficult to maintain at consistent height.
